The Holiday classic!!!

Today, Nov. 10th GTA compeated in the 2007 Holiday Classics in Decatur G.A. It was a small local tournament, but great for the expirience!!
Chrissy won 1st in sparring and 2nd in kata-her first time performing tht kata!!!
Alina won her fight, and her exibition fight, and her sister Clarissa got all 3 first places!!!!
Mary compeated in her first ever tournament and got 2nd in sparring and 4th in kata (AWSOME JOB! :D)
Kalyne and Janyne won 3 first places, two 2nds and a 3rd.
And I got a 2nd in kata, 2nd in weapons, and FIRST in fighting!!!
GTA ROCKED THE HOUSE!!!!!

2007 Hull Middle Talent show!!

Tuesday Nov. 6th I was in the Hull talent show!!! It was so much fun getting to perform infront of all my friends. I started out my routine with an open kata, went to a fighting skit w/ master bryant, bo staff routine, bo staff fighting, and finished it off with 3 board breaks!!! Thanx 4 all who suported me!!! :)

City of Gold, Battle of Champions 2007

Today I partisipated in the City of Gold, Battle of Champions 2007 in Villa Rica, Georgia. The compotition was extreamly tough with boys and girls 14 and under.
Unfortunatly there was almost "too much" compotition and only placed 5th in forms and weapons, but in sparring came out with a pretty strong 2nd place.
I was the only one representing GTA this tournament, but I think I represented them pretty well!! :)

This week I have parcticed my kata~ Sa-u-ing-che kata, about 7,000 times! Why?? Because this weekend I have the 2007 City of Gold; Battle of Champions karate compotition in Villa Rica, Georgia and have set a HUGE goal for myself....to make it into grands!!! Im so pumped!! Only 3 more days! :)

Wellness Fair

Last saturday GTA karate did a demo at Chatahochee Elementary school. About 12 of us from the demo team went over and demonstrated our moves for the little kids at the fair.
We did kata, broke boards, and just showed off cause that what we can do! Afterwards we stayed to play games, hold boards for kids who wanted to break them, and just had tons of fun!!!!

Duluth Fall Festivle

Last weekend GTA rocked the house in the Duluth Fall Festivle!!! Demo team was at the front doing a very short, but impressive demonstration while marching in the parade.
The underbelts also marched with us and supported us with our awsome cheers and performed board breaking with the demo team.
Most likley if you herd a lage group of kids screaming, "GTA WHAT? GTA! GTA WHO? GTA! OOOOOOH!!!", you herd the proud karate school of GTA family martial arts!
*Cause you know you just cant fool with the kool!* :)

Southern Open Karate Nationals

Two weeks ago I got to go to Alabama for a karate tournament, it was AAA ranked by the IKC and ranked A by NASKA. I placed 3rd in weapons, 4th in kata, and 3rd in sparring out of a fairly large divion of black belt girls ages 13 to 14.
Kalyne placed 2nd in kata and 2nd in sparring while her twin sister Janyne placed 1st in kata and 3rd in sparring in the black belt division ages 8 and 9.
Gram also competed in this division and placed 1st in sparring and 5th in kata.
Clorissa came out very strong and placed 1st place in BOTH of her divisions, kata and sparring. Mr. Anthony also had a victory in sparring recieving another 1st place to add to his collection.
Chrissy also was at the top of her game and placed 1st place in sparring!!! She also recieved a 5th place in kata.
I think GTA did outstanding and will be even more amazing at our next tournament on October 13th...be looking out for GTA, cause u just cant mess with the best baby! :)

from my friends, the consolours, the amazing things God has done, and everything between... woodlands camp is the absolute BEST camp in the whole intire world! i could stay there 4ever and i would never get bored of it @ all!

IM SOOOO HAPPY!

ITS FINNALY THE DAY THAT I GOT MY BLACK BELT!!!! this was the BEST day... EVER!!!!!!!!!! i did so great. it was alittle 2 emotional though, i saw other parents crying when i got my black belt, and when master b shook my hand and told me how proud he was, i saw a tear fall down his face! AWWWW! it was sooo kool! i got a kool new uniform, a plaque, a sword, and i am going 2 b in the newspaper b-cuz it was an ALL girls black belt testing!!!! SO KOOL!

i am going 2 DIE!

OMG! I have 2 be @ karate frome 9am 2 1:00 all this week!!!! plus all my regular classes working twice as hard! i have 2 be @ a lock-in thursday 2! KARATE ALL 2 DAYS! AHHHHHHHHH! then testing- h-e-double hocky sticks on earth! and i have 2 do alot of essays 2! DANG!

OMG yall... i am teting 4 my black belt THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!! i am soooo exited! i have been working my little butt off! i really hope im ready!!!!!!!!

OMG, we had a suprise party 4 my favorite youth leader b-cuz she has 2 go 2 collage, and it was so kool! she had no idea @all! WE LUV YOOH FAITH!!!!

YEH!!!! NO MORE SCHOOL!!!! i am soooo glad that school iz over, but i will miss all of the great friends i made this year, i am glad though that my bestest friends live in my neighborhood, or go 2 my church, or 2 my karate. HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!!!!!

OMG....

omg, i had a advanced womans ensomble concert @ the train museum, and we messed up....bad! we sing like perfect angels in class, i guess we were just nerves. well we had fun and i am glad i got exepted in ther cuz it was an hard auddition. ill keep the memories untill next year!!!

i am sooo mad i have been practicing 4 the talent show and it got moved 2 wednsday.... the same day as the chorus dress rehersal, 4 a grade!!!!! I AM SO MAD!!!!

omg 2day my friend jelli amd i audditioned 4 a duett in chorus and she made us sing infront of the whole class...I WAS PETRIFIED! and she diddnt make anyone else do that just us because b4 we diddnt have our cd, i am still shivering!

OMG...i luv being at karate with all the little kidz they are soooo sweet! they always run up and hug me when i walk in, i luv it! one of the cutest thingz waz they went on my club penguin account and bought me all this stuff i told them i wanted. i luv them soooo much!!!!!
