AKA Grand Nationals

Ok, sorry I have missed alot of the little tournaments on here...I have been really really busy. lol. BUT, I just got home from my biggest tournament YET!!! THE AKA GRAND NATIONALS IN KENTUCKY! Yah baby!!! I didnt even have a chance in forms..but I tried :D And the only other thing I compeated in was Sparring and that I did GREAT in! I won my 1st three fights and lost the last one 7 to 6, but I still got 2nd on my 1st 5A NASKA tournament....so thats pretty good! I went with Chriss-Cross (Chrissy) From my team and we met up with Jo-Jo (Jessy) and all Placed in Fighting. It was a blast!!!! XD

"New Tradition" Karate Championships

Yesterday I compeated in the "New Tradition" Karate Championships. It was Rated "B" on ASKL, so there wasnt alot of compotition, but some :) Getting through loosing my voice and being...a...little hurt, I still managed to get FIRST PLACE IN ALL 7 DIVISIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yey! It was awsome and ALOT of fun :)

Rhonda "Ridgehand" Alexander's 23rd Annual Karate Championship

Yesterday I compeated in the 23rd Annual Karate Championship by Rhonda Alexander in Bremen Georgia :) My ended up loosing my voice RIGHT before the compotition...so I sounded REALLY weird in Kata and Weapons :( yah..I didnt even place in those divisions this time!! I fought a REALLY good fight, a tough one that got timed out 4 to 2 and ended up winning FIRST in sparring!!!!!! I also got 2nd in breaking. yah, this DEFINENTALLY want my best one but I am still undefeted in fighting!!! yey!

All Star Karate Nationals

Today I had the Tony Young 2008 All Star Karate Nationals!!! Nervously I compeated for the first time in both musical events and did pretty good. I got 3rd place in musical weapons, and 2nd place in musical forms. Kata: 3rd place, Sparring: FIRST PLACE!!, Weapons: 3rd place, and Breaking: FIRST PLACE!! Overall I did pretty well, and so did Team GTA as a whole, everyone had a good amount of compotition, and it was fair- good tournament!!! :D

ASKL Awards

Hey, Today I had the 2007 ASKL (All Star Karate League) awards. Only compeating MAYBE a sixth of the year I had a BIG disadvantage, but I still did pretty good!!! After tying for 2nd in Sparring, I got 3rd place, Forms I recieved 4th, and also 4th in Weapons. I got a beautiful plauqe that I am putting on my karate wall. Pretty kool for my first year on a compotition circuit, hopefull I will do much better in 2008 :)

Newnan Golden Open Karate Chapionships

First tournament of the year and GTA came out strong!!! Only Chrissy, Jessy, and I compeated because of a "bug" going around, but we all did really good!!! At first I tied for first in weapons, but got 2nd- thats really good though considering I just learned that in 2 days!! I got 1st in kata and 1st in sparring....and once again tied in breaking but recieved 2nd :) I was happy though cause it was my first time compeating in breaking!! I was pretty happy..but not as happy as when I found out I won YOUTH OVERALL GRAND CHAMPION!! First time ever!!! Im soooo happy- good job everyone :)

(wow alot of firsts to day- first places, first tournament of the year, first time with that weapons kata, first time breaking in a tournament, and first time I got youth overall grands!) yey!!

Year End Nationals 2007

I havnt really been on here in a while but I wanted to come back and give you all an update. On November 1st I had the Tony Young Year End Nationals which was tripple A rated. I came out not feeling too good and unfortunatly didnt do too well. Thats ok though...everyone has there bad days. I didnt place in anything exept I got 1st place in sparring!!!! I needed those points for my ASKL Rankings though....
